Snapping out of a gremlin attack can be so difficult! I recently heard someone say something like "being negative is a luxury I can't afford." I interpret that as opportunity cost (i.e., the time you spend in a bad mood could be spent marketing your business).

I also hear you about living in the moment...I always tell myself to focus more on what I'm doing than on getting done (with the project as a whole).

Warmly,

Hi!

Very nice site. Your comments on "The Secret" interested me and so I have to ask... did you see the movie or read the book? I watched the movie and went right out to buy the book. I have read books throughout the last 20 years that have all said the same thing and so when I saw the movie I thought to myself this isn't anything new. However, the beauty of the movie and book is that it has pulled together many thoughts that have been written over the years.

I must tell you a quick story about my purchase of the book. It was a Monday morning following an Oprah show that was dedicated to The Secret. Anyway I called Indigo and they were completely sold out over the weekend! Next I called the only other bookstore that would stock the book. The woman said just a moment I think I might have one left. Sure enough, in typical "The Secret" fashion, there was a book left. I asked her to put it on hold so I could pick it up on my lunch. Excitement filled me as I drove to the bookstore...I had to go uptown and normally parking can be a pain in the butt. Again...as The Secret says ....the Universe will give you what you want and so I parked my car and got out to put money in the meter. No need...I had a wonderful 51 minutes left! When I bought the book the sales clerk said "I must have had 1,000 calls today for this". The Universe wanted me to have a copy sooner than later.

I am only on the second chapter, however I am thoroughly enjoying every word of the book. Today I printed off a picture of the house and floor plan that I will bring into my life. I have copied the picture on my desktop. It will come. :-)

Hi Stevie ~

What an inspiring and nurturing message! You have referenced some of my favorite books, such as Taming Your Gremlin by Rick Carlson and Ask and It is Given by Ester Hicks. I look forward to reading more as you grow your blog :~)
